Cancer Cure - November 14th, 2009 - 4 Comments
After seeing the movie “I Am Legend” do you think you will wait a while after they come up with a cancer cure?
What i mean is: like, if they come up with a cure for cancer next year, will you wait a few years to get vaccinated? just to make sure? I know the movies not real. But i wont take any chances because the whole movie takes place in 2009.

It really depends. If I had stage one cancer, I would probaly wait. The more the severe the cancer the higher chance I would take it.
This question is retarded.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but if there was a chance that the cure for cancer would be a life-ending virus or whatever, then why wouldn’t the cure for any other disease be deadly??? There are thousands of cures for thousands of diseases.
Yeah, I would.
Even though its highly unrealistic that the ‘cure’ would have that sort of effect on people, I would wait a couple years.
plus I’m sure they would do some tests on volunteers and keep on testing for a few years before they let it out to the public
That movie was a scenario to play on your fear. And it worked. You would do better to distance yourself from large cities where people arrive with TB or other drug resistant strains of things we thought we had a hold on. Cancer is your living cells mutating and for reasons we do not understand. Whether genetic or environmental, cancer is a broad term and there are many other things more likely to strike in a huge way… think Ebola, smallpox, and a strain of flu like never seen.
