Anyone know of where to get a long human hair wig for under $100? I am bald from chemo- have breast cancer?

I went to Cancer Society but they didnt have a very good selection. I have a synthetic hair wig but when I tried on a human hair wig OMG it was so great it made me cry I forgot what real hair feels like, i forgot how real hair is so bouncy and beautiful. I loved it! I want my long blonde hair back!!
Any info will be greatly appreciated. Have a nice day everyone.

ebay is all i can think of. celebrate your life, your hair will come back. i think the head wraps and hats are really cute. i hope someone see’s your questions and can donate a wig. i have heard of and known people who shave their heads to honor their friends and family with cancer.

Hair loss from chemotherapy is temporary. Once you stop treatment your hair will grow back.

If you still want a wig than you can try calling the American Cancer Society . . they offer wigs through a project called Pantene Beautiful Lengths:

"As Pantene Beautiful Lengths wigs are created, they are distributed for free through select American Cancer Society wig banks across the country. Women facing cancer can find out about the availability of a Pantene Beautiful Lengths wig by calling the American Cancer Society at 1-877-227-1596. The Society can also help callers with a number of resources providing educational and emotional support."

Our cancer treatment centers take wig donations and I know I myself donated 8 real hair wigs of my grandma’s and when I brought them in the women that were around me at the time were so thankful.. they only request that when a patient is done with the wigs they return them so someone else can use them. They have the specially cleaned so that others can use them. They also accepted the prosthetics from my mom as she passed away this year from breast cancer.. She never used them but they said even if she did they would take them and have them cleaned.

Keep fighting! My prayers are with you for a healthy recovery!
