Are there any free clinic type places where people can get tested for cancer?
I have a friend, and he’s sick, and broke. He doesn’t have enough money to go to a regular hospital, but I was wondering if there was a place around the Chicagoland area that could help him.
Many years ago the US governement helped build hospitals all across the country under the obligation that each of these facilities establish a program for those unable to pay. That program is called the Hill Burton Free and Reduced Cost Health Care. Look through the following list of hospitals that offer this program, there are about five in your area to check:
