Best hope for a Cancer cure?
What (research effort) is generally agreed to currently be the single best hope for a cure to cancer? (And please don’t say "prevention")
I know cancer is a broad term so if specification is necessary to give an answer then let’s say we’re talking about breast cancer.

There isn’t a “single best hope for a cure.” There are some promising things undergoing clinical trials right now which may allow us to better treat breast cancer and it looks like we may be close to treated breast cancer more like a chronic disease, but if a cure is found before then it will likely be found by accident.
