Can radiation on the breast for cancer cause a frozen shoulder?

No chemotherapy given only 33 sessions of radiation.

God, I hope not. My sister is right in the middle of her radiation treatments for breast cancer. So far, so good.

Being a breast cancer patient, I would say yes. In fact since I had my masectomy, also right side, my shoulder has been stiff since the op. It may have something to do with the nerves that are damaged during the operation, as I didnt have radiation. But its a battle to get my arm above my head. Its something we learn to live with, especially when we still have our life. But get this confirmed so you can have peace of mind. Hope you stay well.
