Can televisions cause radiation cancer?
->
Hi. I know this may sound crazy, but my Grandma’s TV broke the other day and it gave off a really bad smell. You could smell it all the way to my room. Is it possible to get radiation cancer or high levels of radiation in your body? Thanks.

TVs can cause radiation cancer if being exposed to them for long periods of time, and at a close proximity to the TV. Under the circumstances you have described, you cannot get radiation cancer.
nope, just rot your brain from atrophy.
You can’t smell radiation. But you can smell chemicals,
That is what you were probably smelling
Recent research says that too much of Smart Phone usage can reduce your eyesight from its normal capacity. Smart phone screens are much safer than your TV screens so it is very much likely that the penetrating powers of radiation might cause harm but it is not sure whether the harm level can cause cancer or not.
CRT (Crystal Ray Tube) displays are really radiation prone sets that cause you defects. That is why now people are preferring to shift to LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) and LED instead of the picture tube TVs or monitors.
No. You have nothing to worry about.
