Can you feel cervical cancer?
->
My cervix is sore. It has been feeling strange for a couple of weeks now so I know it’s not due to ovulation or pms. I do have an IUD but everything seems to be in place (I’ve had it for over 4yrs without any problems). Could it be cancer? I have been trying to get into a clinic for a pap but because of the H1N1 panic, the clinics are turning me away as they are too busy. I have a gyno appointment but it’s not scheduled until DECEMBER! If it’s cancer I know it’s REALLY bad to wait.

I would be more inclined to think this is irritation from some other source. Early cervical cancer usually produces no symptoms at all.
Later stage symptoms can include pelvic pain (unrelated to menstruation, etc.) Pain during intercourse, abnormal bleeding, and vaginal discharge may be present (with or without odor.)
I wouldn’t be overly concerned (and IF that is the problem, things won’t change significantly between now and December.) Just keep your appointment.
I had and survived cervical cancer and did not feel anything, most likely you are having an issue with your IUD. Honestly a few weeks probably won’t make a difference if it is cancer, but if you are that worried or that uncomfortable, try going to the ER.
No you can’t. Its unlikely to be cancer
