No generally they would advise against this unless you have completed all treatment. But your oncologist will be in the best place to give you advise specific to your situation.
Could you? I suppose that you could get pregnant. Would your baby survive and if it could survuve, would it be healthy? Those are entirely different questions. I have Cervical Cancer myself stage 1B2 and I know that I have been advised to not even have intercourse while I am going through Radiation Therapy. I have also read in materials given to me by the Cancer Care Center, that Radiation given in these areas COULD lead to infertility. This is not to say that it will for you. Perhaps the radiation isn’t too close too your ovaries. In my case, I have two children already so infertility is not a concern. It is really best that you speak with your doctor immediately if you feel you may be pregnant or are trying to conceive. Best wishes.
