I believe that chemotherapy is usually recommended for triple neg breast cancer, even when it is at an early stage; first because triple negative breast cancer responds well to chemotherapy and secondly because there are no other post-surgery treatments for it in the way that there are hormone treatments and Herceptin for cancers that are not triple neg.
