->
Ok so the other day my mother was on the phone to one of her friends , and i heard her say "..yeah theres a clinic there I’ll go and get checked there"… the place she was talkin bout.. theres a clinic for breast cancer check? ![]()
and she is kinda in a bad mood lately
and my dad told me to be nice to her cos shes not well (well she has a cold but idk cos hes never said that before bout a cold)
and today she told me she was going for a "mammagram" ? this week i didnt know what that meant but i googled it and it came up about breast cancer? ![]()
Should i be worried , and does this mean she has cancer? :/

You could ask her. That might be the quickest way to find out what is going on. But, depending on your mothers age . . mammograms are done routinely the older you become. I have them yearly (ouch).
Anyway tell your mother you overheard her conversation and now you are worried about it. Usually it is best to be direct and just ask.
A mammogram is a routine check for breast cancer, you need not be worried.
However, if you love your Mum so much, why not try praying to the Lord to help her? It costs you nothing, and the Lord will answer your prayer.
Be blessed
You don’t mention your mothers age BUT mammogram is a screening tool to detect early breast cancer.
The best way to treat breast cancer is to catch it early, screening programs can detect breast cancer before there are any signs or symptoms of the disease.
If your mother is over 40, this is probably what she is having.
There is no reason to suspect cancer unless something is detected on her mammogram.
Mammograms DO NOT always mean breast cancer. She may have spoken to her doctor or your dad and she is concerned. If your mother did a self exam she may have felt a lump. Not all lumps are cancer either. There are so many types of lumps that invade a woman’s breast, Fibroid tumors, not cancer,, is one. Cysts are another one, they are just sacs filled with harmless fluid. She could also have felt calcium deposits which are usually in the milk ducts. How old is your mother. That would give everyone a better look into why she wants a mammogram. Until more information is had, it’s hard to tell. Your dad doesn’t seem to concerned from what you said. This just may be a precaution for your mom and there are clinics that will do them a lower cost. So don’t jump to conclusions. You know where you will get the best answer? your mom. Tell her you heard her talking about it. She’s the only one that will have the answer you’re looking for. So go ahead, ask her. God bless.
