Cancer/marijuana pill/drug test for job dilemma! Help please!?
I am a recent cancer survivor, and I was given marijuana pills to try to help increase my appetite because I was losing weight rapidly. I am feeling really good now, stopped taking those pills maybe a month ago or so, but now I am job searching. I have had a few good leads, now I had a really good interview coming up in 2 days. I already know that this company requires drug testing. I don’t want to tell my potential employer about my recent cancer battle because I know that even though legally I can’t be turned down for medical reasons, I am very sure that this is the reason I didn’t get a job recently.
Is there any way that I can get around telling my employer I had cancer (possibly have a surgery in my future also if a small area doesn’t go away soon…radiation just about done working, almost time for another scan to check it out)…
Is there any way of getting around the drug test results without revealing this info to my employer?
I think they send potential candidates to a little clinic to be tested, so if I told the clinic about my recent cancer battle and the medical marijuana pill I had to take, would they have to tell my potential employer, or could they even tell them?
I don’t know what to do…the interview is in 2 days and I already had a great phone interview. I am worried about the situation.

Take a letter from your Dr stating that in the last month you have been taking XYZ drugs by prescription as treatment for a medical condition.
This can list any medications you may still be taking.
Show this to the testing clinic, so they can eliminate these drugs from their test report.
My daughter has ADHD and her medication means she tests positive for amphetamines, her license is noted to show this.
get some clean urine, put it in an airtight bag and store it on the inside of a blazer/jacket. make sure there is a way to easily get it out without making a mess. Then when you go to piss in a stall just use that

I used everything to lose weight, and nothing worked until I used colon cleanse. In Canada, yes, you can take the drug test, but still get the job because it is medicinal marijuana. I do not know the laws in USA. Even in Canada, you still have to inform the company anyway.
