Why would radiation (Chemo) be a treatment option for cancer, if radiation causes cancer in the first place?
Radiation can cause lymphoma and leukemia.
Are all stage 1 breast cancer patients with no lymph node involvement recommended to take chemo?
What if a person has stage 1 breast cancer with no lymph node involvemet and have estrogen and progesterone negative tumors, will chemo strongly be recommended for that person especially if they are young? Also, I would like to know are positive estrogen and progesterone tumors very slow growing tumors? Are negative tumors faster growing?
Do people with stage 0 colon cancer need chemo or is this an insurance income for doctors and staff?
My friend had a resected bowel in January 2010 due to precancerous cells found during a routine colonoscopy in November 2009. She is 50. They said it was between a Stage 2-3, but because she is a non-smoker, that drops it to a Stage 0. She is not tolerating the procedure of her chemotherapy very well (air passages closed briefly in cold weather) and is wondering if she even needs it! Any suggestions for her?
Tomatoes Can Lower Your Risk of Cancer
There may be some confusion here as to the tomato. It is, scientifically speaking, a fruit but many people refer to it as a vegetable. But because millions of cooks use it as a savory component of their meal preparation, the humble tomato most often gets called a vegetable. But that doesn’t matter. We all know the red [mainly] tomato and enjoy it in so many different ways. It can be eaten raw or cooked and can appear in a wide range of sauces and spreads. The humble tomato is everywhere.
