If someone has colon cancer do they always get chemo or radiation?

If someone has colon cancer do they always get chemo or radiation? My friend said that he has colon cancer not sure if i believe him. He said 4 weeks ago he had surgery. But then he mentioned he will have to have physical therapy. I think his physical therapy was due to his back. He said the doctors never told him about how long he has to live. Why would someone need physical therapy after a colon operation.

how many years it takes to cause tumor cancer?
and can ct scan radiation cause tumor in just 11 month?
im asking about ct scan at 3 or 4 msv

Is it true that chemo from cancer kills you?

My grandma had Brest cancer twice and ovarian cancer. She didn’t do any chemo and is still alive and well. She is also a big Christian. My dad had lipo sarcoma removed from his arm and had no chemo and is still alive and well. They both go regularly for scans.

What is the proper disposal of formaldehyde?

I received a small container from a lab to take home for a fecal sample. It is 10% Neutral Buffered Formalin with the active ingredient being formaldehyde. I never used it and am now wondering how to dispose of it. I called the clinic that gave it to me and they said to dump it down the toilet, but formaldehyde is a cancer causing carcinogen and I don’t think that is the best way to dispose of the chemical. What do you suggest? Can I neutralize it with cat litter and put it in a plastic container like you do with other medications?
