Do I definitely have cancer?

For around three to four months I’ve had some very discerning symptoms get worse. It started with a growth in the right side of my mouth ( near or on the tonsil I think) and then my Adam’s Apple seemed a little bigger and the chords on my neck seemed a bit thicker and stringy. About a month ago I started getting a sore throat which has progressed to the point of actual discomfort. The growths in my mouth are on either side now, and when I blow my nose, my mucus has blood in it. I’m only 19 years old, and I’ve smoked for 3 years off and on, but with a little more on then off, and I’m very worried that soon I’ll never be able to sing again. It’ll be up to a month and a half before I can get to a half decent doctor to know for sure, but I’d like an opinion now at least as far as the possibilities of what’s wrong with me if there’s anything past cancer. I did get to a free clinic but they told me they didn’t see the growths and that I may just have acid reflex.
Thanks for helping ^_^

This isn’t the place to ask! See a doc before you worry yourself to pieces.

I think you could be exaggerating what you feel. I bet you dont really have any growths. The sore throat could just be that, a little sore throat (could be caused by smoking), or an upper respiratory infection or a cold. The blood in your nose could be from blowing your nose too much and you irritated the sinuses (or possible sinus infection). In that case the mucous might be yellow. Sometimes the glands can swell a little too and make your throat feel bigger, even the tonsils can swell a bit. Those upper respiratory infections can linger on sometimes and smoking can complicate full recovery. Your symptoms dont sound like cancer. But an appointment with a good MD or ears, nose, and throat doctor would confirm. Usually a clinic would catch a serious problem (which you went to), but it wouldn’t hurt to get a second opinion. I wouldn’t keep worrying the worse though, I doubt it is what you fear!
