With modern equipment and highly collimated beams, the exposure is kept to a minimum and highly regulated as per ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principles such that there is no significant difference in the incidence of diseases in the short term. There are a few studies which demonstrate an increase in leukemias and lymphomas late in life but this may be related to the equipment that was used decades ago, when there was a lot of radiation leak, less protection and less collimation of the beam. All residents wear badges which monitor how much radiation they’re exposed to and this is monitored throughout their residency.

I am not sure what is meant by the phrase "slope to neurological disorders" but there is no link between exposure to radiation during residency and neurological disorders later in life. Interventional radiologists have an increased risk of developing cataracts as the cornea is sensitive to the additive effects of even low dose radiation in an additive manner.
