Do you always have to get CHEMO when you have cancer?

If you get breast cancer, can they just remove the cancer…or do you always have to get chemo?

Thanks.

The patient doesn’t ever have to do anything they don’t want to do. Chemo is not recommended for several cancers, often depending on the stage. The patient’s age has little to do with it. However, it is almost always recommended with breast cancer regardless of stage with the exception of a few rare types.

Each individual person’s case presents different components, therefore indicating different available types of treatments.
It all depends on the person and the type and stage of cancer they have.

Yes according to the modern medicine that’s the only way and the thing is the cancer comes back and going through chemo weakens immune system so basically it just add some years to ur life. You cant really go back to what u were most of the time.
If something helps fight cancer is bud cabbage juice(when its still maturing) and if u do some research u will find that processed sugar, too spicy food can make cancer even worse. Also study have shown that cancerous cells cannot thrive in well oxygenated blood.

But you should really consider taking bud cabbage juice as much as possible should help a little and eat dark green or dark colored vegetables.

No not all breast cancer’s patients will have to do chemotherapy. Different stages call for different treatments. All breast cancer diagnosis is more of an individual disease. You can have twenty breast cancer patients and all twenty could be different.

Example at the radiation ward my wife and I met two other breast cancer patients that did not have chemotherapy. The stage was 0 and they had minor surgery followed by radiation.

So no chemotherapy is not for all breast cancer patients.

If the cancer is around last stage chemotherapy is usually the option the doctors use and yes it does damage the normal and bad cells. Other methods are used for lower stage cancers for example. if the cancer didn’t spread to other parts they the doctors usually do a surgery to remove it.

It depends on the patient’s age, if she is post menapausal, various receptors on the cancer cell and other factors

It depends on the stage of cancer. The first part of the body that breast cancer spreads to are the adjacent lymph nodes – usually the upper arm. After that it can metastise to other organs in the body (stage 4).
If the cancer is detected before it has spread into lymph nodes, it can be removed by surgery and there should not be any need for Chemo (although it will depend on the oncologist’s judgement). If it has spread to the lymph nodes, then generally the surgeons will remove these also and the oncologist will definitely recommend Chemo.
My limited experience with oncologists suggests that they will almost always recommend Chemo ‘Just to be sure".
And no – no one can force you to have Chemo. If you are an early detection or a borderline early detection, get a second opinion.

    Hi,

The doctors are giving you the options that they think will assist in helping prolong your life.

It is really up to the patient to decide to follow the doctor’s advice.

You have the choice to leave the cancer in there, have chemo or not, and what other things you want to do.

You might also want to see what happened to this child.

His dad wanted to avoid chemo as well, and I think he did. The video is a few years old now, so the kid is probably 8 or 9 by now. Call the number for more information.

Getting free water is really easy, just ask at http://www.craigslist.com and place a wanted add for some 8.5 PH alkaline water.

    Good Luck!
