Do you have absolute faith in God?
->
Would you rather go to a treatment clinic for cancer or pray for it to go away?

No.
My brain, you see, can diffentiate between reality, and make believe.
God helps those who helps themselves
By that logic a christian should never get out of bed and just pray for god to take him to work and feed his children etc
My faith in God is absolute, I do not fear death and I know when my time comes I will go to a better place.
Until then, I will make the best of this life that I can. If that means utilizing today’s medicine, so be it.
I have faith in absolutely nothing, including the main character in ancient myths.
I don’t even have virtual faith in god.
i have no faith in Kami as we call God in Japan. Most of my people worship Amaterasu the Shinto goddess of the Sun. There are 220 times as many Shintoists as Christians in Japan. Anyone who prays to have gods heal his illness, rather than consulting a doctor is a candidate for a Darwin Award.
Why can’t you do both? Are they mutually exclusive? Didn’t think so.
A lot of people have the attitude that "I have cancer, and if its God’s will that I die, so be it." I can’t blame them. What is so great about this life to hang on for 5 more years, or 10? Nothing, that’s what.
God is not real. Go to the clinic.
People often mistake absolute belief in God as taking the place of medicine, it doesn’t. The Bible states that a person should do everything they can for themselves and God will do the for you what you cannot. The answer is both. As to why God doesn’t answer all prayers and save everyone, I don’t know, but I do believe that on judgement day all his decisions will be justified.
