Does microwave radiation really cause cancer or any other diesese?

    No but it will destroy your flesh and your innards by cooking them which is not a lot better than having cancer.

    High levels can cause a burn. Studies haven’t been able to show any effects from low levels. Microwave ovens have construction standards that make them completely safe. Go to the link below for an article from Washington State Department of Health.

    Extremely long exposure (like hours every day for years) to a very powerful microwave source (like a military radar device) MIGHT cause degenerative neural disease.

    But no, if you stand in front of your microwave oven for a minute or two every day, it is not harmful. For one thing, those things are shielded.

    They are definitely less harmful than gamma radiation I can say!

    Microwaves have also been used for signal communications. High intensities of the radiation in an oven for example, however, is possible to cause your cells to ‘melt’ when exposed but not enough to cause cancer.
