Does radiation from a microwave oven cause cancer?

Does standing close to a microwave increases your risk of getting cancer?

    No. It emits non-ionizing electromagnetic radiation.

    Ionizing radiation is the cancer causing stuff. Wiki it if you don’t believe me.

    Only if you insist on staring wide-eyed at the popocorn popping through the lit glass door…..you’re suppopsed to do that with Jiffy Pop and a stove top….not a microwave!

    I am not going to say there is a 0% increase.

    Whatever correlation microwave radiation and cancer have cannot be experimentally determined.

    This also holds for lose doses of ionizing radiation. Non-ionizing radiation like visible light, infrared, radio waves, and microwaves cause damage through heating.
