Dogs going through chemo: any support groups/online resources for canine cancer treatment?
->
There’s no one to ask, or compare experiences. ARE there any such groups in existence?
Our vet is excellent, and he says this type of cancer can be treated with chemo and medication. It should extend the dog’s life, while maintaining the quality of life.
No thumbs down from me, ever.

Why put a dog thru that much prolonged pain and suffering??? If a dog gets cancer I feel the humane thing to do is just put them down.
Dog’s shouldn’t have to suffer that much just because WE want them around </3
Go to Yahoo Groups. You will find e-mail lists for support and advice.
The type of cancer may make a difference. I know 5 people who have had dogs undergo chemo. All 5 say they would never do it again.
Best wishes
Yes there actually are support groups for this.
