fellow cancer warriors or someone who'd know about radiation ?

i just completed my 15 treatments of radiation to the brain for metastasized lung cancer. i have noticed a marked fatigue and drowsiness and am told that it is an expected side effect. my question is how long will this last? is there any thing i can do about it but be patient?

Keep pushing through, hun. Youre doing great! This side effect will last a few days.

Be patient, but be sure you are getting all the nutrients you need from food. My issue was not as severe as yours, but I think it is important to keep a diet full of intense greens, like arugala and other bitter greens to help your body cleanse and deal with the treatments. Have you ever tried Miso soup? Obviously rest as much as you can. Try soaking in magnesium baths , you know what I mean, like epsom salts. You may find that very relaxing and it is very cleansing. Good luck and I hope you feel wonderful very soon.
