For a man going through radiation, due to prostate cancer, and has uncontrolable bowels?

Is there some form of diet, so that he doesn’t get untimely urges to go to the bathroom. Any suggestions at all would be helpful. Thanks

i would talk to the doctor. going through prostate treatment is bad enough, but i’m not sure why that would affect the bowls

I think there is a kind of mushroom which is good for cancer, and it help him a lot ,if you talk to his doctor he could put him on the list to have his share,

If the bowel problem is a result of the cancer treatment then they can provide medication to control these unpleasant side effects.

I’m not sure about diet, but speak to your Dr.
Radiation treatments to the prostate can affect the lower bowels because they are in the same area of the body. You may be experiencing not unusual side effects of the therapy.
All the best of luck to you!
