Help me find a genetic cancer questionaire online?
My mom died of acute myelocytic leukemia around 41years of age and my grandmother did too. I was told granny was the worse. I’m 31 and according to mayo.clinic i have half of the symptons. I will be paying cash where i go and i really want to make sure im taking the right test to find out for sure. Im going to one place that will do a pap and blood work but i’m afraid that may not be enough.
You might want to check out the Leukemia and Lymphoma society… they even have a call center you can access. i’ve worked in oncology for about 12 years, and am not too familiar about genetic predispositions for leukemia. on cancer.gov there is a ‘breast cancer risk assessment’ tool, but i don’t think that is what you are looking for.
