Most lung cancers that can be cured are cured with surgery – resection of the primary tumor mass if that can be accomplished. This may cure some people with non-small cell lung cancers.
If this is a small cell lung cancer, chemotherapy and radiation is the only chance.
If anyone with a lung cancer diagnosis is cured without surgery, chemotherapy and/or radiation – - the diagnosis of lung cancer must have been wrong.

If you are diagnosed with lung cancer through a MRI, chest x-ray, a qualified Physician, and a biopsy and were told that Chemo was your best chance of surviving….I would listen to the Doctor.

Have you been told you cannot have chemotherapy or radiotherapy because of risks? If not I hope you will have the chemotherapy. It is most unpleasant but most necessary.
