How does ultraviolent radiation (UV) affect skin cancer and what role does ozone play?

    The prolonged exposure of UV rays from the sun on the skin can cause skin cancer. This is why there is such an emphasis on using sun block. The role the ozone plays is the thicker the ozone is the less high potentate UV rays get through to your skin. With a thin ozone layer the more UV rays get through and the faster you get exposed to harmful UV rays that could cause skin cancer. I hope this helps you understand. Below is a link to check out.
