It's been a long time coming to actually put a name to it as my radiation was received when I was 15 and I am 43 now. Symptoms have progressively gotten worse since my 20s to the point that I have been unable to work. Because of the complications of my case surgery is not advised (not that I would want that either - had enuf of those for a lifetime). My doctor has me on a low residue diet. Still hoping for somethng that makes life more manageable... a solution. I have recently been diagnosed w radiation colitis also.
