I was diagnosed with tongue cancer 5 yrs. ago, I was told after radiation and chemotherapy that the cancer wa?
was gone but I really never felt any improvement, they burned out my mouth, 3 dentures and still not able to eat due to pain. Now doctors say the cancer came back and they will treat me again, chemotherapy and radiation, but they said this it’s gonna be aimed to bad spot. Any advise, cause I think chemo is the same, radiat is the same?
No, chemo and radiation are not the same. Radiation is like x-ray kind of stuff, and chemotherapy comes in pill and liquid form.
