If you have stomach ulcers and then get stomach cancer would you only get chemo shots to treat it?
->
Like I know this girl and she said that she had stomach ulcers and then got a rare case of stomach cancer and had chemo shots to treat it only. Then after 2 or 3 months it went away. Is that possible?

If it is or was a case of stomach lymphoma,then responce to chemotherapy is very good.
All other stomach cancer must be surgically resected if possible followed by further therapy.
You sound like a typical hypercondriac…lol… No that is not possible
Well chemotherapy is administered through an IV, not injections. and yes, some chemotherapy regimens like mine went over a 3 month period.
It depends on the stage. It would be possible to treat a really early stage 1 cancer with just chemo. There are three general classes of treatments: chemo (usually given diluted through an iv for a couple hours each time), surgery (only if the area is accessible), and radiation (depends on the area, type, person’s previous radiation exposure). Those three are mixed and matched to make up a treatment plan. It’s really a case by case thing though – everyone is different and response to treatment, prognoses, etc can vary greatly between people with similar cancers.
Your friend is just an attention seeker. That is not how a rare stomach cancer is dealt with.
You say ‘girl’ so I assume she’s at most a teenager.
Like most types of cancer, stomach cancer is more common in older people – most people diagnosed with cancer are over 60.
95% of those diagnosed with stomach cancer are 50 or over.
The chances of stomach cancer in a teenager are just about zero.
