If you think you have skin cancer but don't have a family doc, do you go to a walk in clinic/emergency?
there are no family doctors in the area

If you are not in pain or something that makes it a true emergency, I would start at a walk in clinic. They can point you to the right docs.

If you think you have something that serious the best thing to do is get some type of medical professional to examine you. If all you have is a clinic or hospital, definately go there.
Make an appointment to see a dermatologist right away… never go to a family doctor for moles family doctors often misdiagnose.
This is not considered immediate danger and insurance will not cover an emergency room bill.
Dermatologist. It’s a skin doctor, they specialize in this. You really ought to see one, some kinds of skin cancer are malignant and even fatal if left untreated.
