Is a sudden inversion of 1 nipple a strong indication of cancer? ?

and what tests would be likely carried out at breast clinic with only this problem?

Not necessarily. It could be, but don’t panic yourself into thinking the worst. Mine is inverted and there is nothing wrong.

Inverted nipple is one symptom of breast cancer yes, it is what finally sent me to the doctor to be checked. Is the nipple always inverted? Is the skin around it puckered? If the nipple inverts then goes back to normal then it’s probably not cancer. I also had a hardening under my nipple.

If you go to the GP they will send you for a mammogram and ultrasound, both painless although the mammogram can be uncomfortable.

yes, it can be a symtom as well as pukering in certain spots of the breast.
Get it checked out asap. Good Luck!
