is it hard to eat when you have cancer or only when you are on chemo?
->
or does it depend on the type of cancer. Can you drink liquor?

It depends on the cancer. Unless it is very advanced skin cancer will not affect eating and drinking alcohol will not matter. However, if you have colon cancer it will eventually cause problems with eating and alcohol is not a good idea. The only cancers that cause problems drinking water are those that creates problems swallowing. There are hundreds of drugs used for chemo and hundreds of combinations. Some make it difficult to keep food or liquids down in some patients and should be reported to the oncologist so they may adjust the medication or give the patient something to help with the side effects.
All cancers are different and bodies react to chemo and radiation and medicin in a different way.
Some can’t drink water much but you should always at least keep lips wet because of your teeth, it is very important to do that.
And no; you cannot drink liquor at all.
Not even coffee many times.
