is pot good for you if you smoke it once in a while and can it cure cancer?
->
people say pot is bad for you but can it be good for you if you only smoke it once in a blue moon and can it actually cure cancer or does it just make it to where you can eat when you have cancer?

A good question.
Can it cure cancer? To the best of my knowledge, no unfortunately. It may make your life a bit easier while you deal with the disease. For those who are terminally ill, I say, let them have whatever makes life better.
As far as pot and other drugs go, I say, No, let me keep whatever is left of my mind. My father was an alcoholic and wasted the last two decades of his life because he was drunk almost every day. It was a sad sight.
Ah, but pot is not like alcohol you say. Maybe so and maybe not. I see the risk as being too great to take for the very meager reward.
There was an article publish a while back that said pot smoking tended to kill off the cells that become cancerous from smoking cigarettes.
The assertion was smoking pot might prevent lung cancer in smokers. There is a huge difference between prevent and cure, there is no assertion pot cures anything. I would just say this is meaningless result as people who smoke pot are not hard core smokers.
There is definitive evidence pot does help cancer patients being treated with chemo therapy eat and stay healthier thru their chemo treatment.
Don’t kid yourself! Smoking pot is not healthy. Like cigarettes, you are taking in many different chemicals that are harmful to you. You may not smoke as much as a cigarette smoker but you do hold the smoke in your lungs longer.
Smoke pot does offer some relief to chemo patients but so does many of the available drugs a doctor can prescribe without the risk of inhaling something that will not be helpful.
