Is radiation to treat cancer made up of "chemicals"?

If so, what are the names of these chemicals?

    I think you might be confusing yourself with chemotherapy which involves different combinations of medication. Radiotherapy involves your body being submitted to radiation, at a stronger level than a normal xray. Hope that helps

    no, radiation is radiation, generated from machines similar to xrays.
