A bit. They have recently discovered that antioxidants can interfere with chemotherapy for obvious reasons.

I would recommend they lay off the antioxidant’s while they undergo their treatment. The treatment is designed to kill good and bad cells, with a concentration on bad with the newer treatments. It is best not to interfere if possible.

Check with the doctor for heaven’s sake. Only a doctor can respond to this question. It’s against the law for us to give medical advise.

I would hope you know that anything you read here is opinion and not medical advice and I think what you are looking for is someone with personal experience with this exact situation. That said, I would hesitate even to venture an opinion on this one. The treating oncologist should be the one asked.

Taking any medicationns or supplements not approved by your oncologist is bad during chemotherapy.

Only the treating oncologist is fully aware of each individual patients treatment and how it cna be affected by other substances.
