is there any other purpose for chemo besides cancer?

someone i know is getting chemotherapy but she said it’s not for cancer, is there any other reason to get it?
i was thinking it might be something beauty related because she’s always trying to look better.
thanks

For autoimmune diseases like multiple sclerosis; rheumatoid arthritis or to act as immunosupressant in organ transplant.

There is no use for it in beauty treatments…it is a very painful & debilitating treatment.

All of the treatments involved in chemotherapy are horribly toxic to your body and the only reason you’d take them is so that you don’t die of cancer. If you take chemotherapy because you want to look better, wow, I’m trying to think of some insult to suit the mind numbing idiocy of it.

    She has cancer (probably)
