Last question for the night. I have bladder cancer and I am almost 39 and female. what I want to know is?
->
do you know anyone or do you yourself have cancer with the tumour going to the legs? I have one bigger than a marble in my right leg in my upper thigh. I just wanted to know if you know anyone who has or had cancer and if the tumour went to their leg as well? Mine has spread to my lymph nodes in my goin. I am due to see the specilist on friday this week at the clinic. My cancer may be incurable considering it has been left for a long time as the blood in the urine the doctors thought it was an infection or UTI which lab results and other tests have ruled out. This had been giong on for 1 year until it was discovered. Anway would anyone help me with the quesiton I have?
Rosie and John than you so much for your response. Rosie I did supspect it was coming from my right lymph node as to why the mass is there in my right thigh. God bless you all.

Read your question with… my sympathy.
But too bad, that I can’t help you with an answer and I don’t know anybody in my family, friends and acquaintance that can help you….
:- (
I am sorry.
i answered you similar question. about this. It’s possible that your bladder cancer has spread or metastasize to your right leg or thigh via the lympathic system ( as you acknowledge the involvement of your lymph node in your right groin) that’s the only way the cancer would have spread.
However, I strongly suspect and I reiterate it again, it seems that those are just secondary sites. Another known fact, it’s possible that repeated instances of UTI are the culprit of your bladder cancer or indicating the presence of cancer.
However, I reiterate my strong suspicion that the primary site of the cancer might originate anywhere from your lung to any of your reproductive organ such as ovary or the uterus lining. The proximity of the uterus and the bladder is apparent. or it might be also in your ureters or even the kidney.
I strongly suggest that you should inquire and request of the oncologist to commence chemotherapy (radiation of the whole body is impossible) immediately to destroy those widespread invasive cancer cells.
My prayers are with you.!!!!

Go to this site below for various discussions on treatment options including bladder surgery (cystectomy) and TUR,etc.
Of course the treatment depends on what stage and what grade of cancer.

I suggest you consult a good urologist. If you already have, then get a second opinion. I recommend the following two doctors – Dr. Stephen Jones,
the Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, Ohio or Dr. Michael O. Kock, Indiana
University Medical School, Indianapolis, Indiana.
Having both bladder and prostate cancer, I have survived for almost 4 years on the prostate cancer and over 3 years on the bladder cancer. Knowledge is power and both of these doctors will empower you with top
notch knowledge and options. My prayers go with you.
The spelling on Dr. Michael O. Koch is as just stated.
