lump under armpit after 5 year free of cancer?
i had malignant mellanoma skin cancer 5 years ago i had several small ops,i went for my last visit yesterday and have all clear,but ive got to go back for a scan because theyve discoverd a small lump under armpit,im gutted really has anyone had anything simular?thanks for answers cheers
Best case scenario: A benign irritation of a lymph node. Worst case scenario: Breast cancer. You need to go to your physician as soon as possible. Just get checked out!
Sometimes, benign growths will appear right around ovulation or the beginning of your menstrual cycle.
With your previous history it is not uncommon to develop other forms of problems, BUT the only sure way is for a scan ASAP.
Do not jump the gun, but do get that scan as a matter of urgency because there is nothing as stressful as not knowing what is wrong.
