It’s time to start taking better care of myself. Monday, May 26th I am going to start the Master Cleanse.
What is Master Cleanse?
It is a great practice to give your body’s systems a rest from time to time, allowing the organs to throw off inferior materials and alkalizing your body. The Master Cleanse (also called the Lemonade Cleanse) will do just that — usually comfortably and without the ups and downs of blood sugar variations.
You can do the Master Cleanse for one day or more. The standard time for a full cleanse is 10 days, although it is ideal to stay on the cleanse until your tongue is clear again. It will turn white during the cleanse. The longest we have stayed on the cleanse is 11 days.
Basic lemonade Recipe:
10 oz. of water
2 T. lemon juice
2 T. Grade B maple syrup (very important to get Grade B)
pinch cayenne pepper
Process:
Drink as much as you want. Put nothing else in your body except water and organic, herbal teas.
Generally, you will not be hungry during the cleanse, because the Grade B maple syrup releases sugar very slowly into your system, maintaining a steady blood sugar. If you are hungry, have another lemonade.
Intestinal Cleanse
You can also do an intestinal cleanse every morning on the Master Cleanse. Use 1 qt. warm water with 1 teaspoon of sea salt. Drink down quickly first thing upon arising. You will want to stay near the toilet for the next hour as the salt water comes through, cleaning your digestive tract thoroughly.

My one day trial of the Master Cleanse diet went really well, no issues at all, everything worked as described.

Really? Is it really that simple? And yet the benefits are really great. I’m wondering how come not a lot of people do this. Are there any side effects? Am I right in reading that you take in nothing but that? Won’t that be bad for you? I’m willing to try this but I want to know more first.
Let me try to answer that one. First take note of the name. Its called Master Cleanse. What it does is help your body get rid of toxins. In short, it cleanses your body. If you’ve been searching the web, you may have read of some complaints about this. Personally I think the reason for that is some people think this is a diet that is used to lose weight. It is not. It cleans your body. Although weight loss may be a sort of side effect.
Before you do it then, ask yourself, what is it that you want?
