Call your mother’s employer and talk to the personel department. Ask if she is elligible for short term or long term disability insurance payments. Also ask to talk to a social worker at the hospital where she is getting teatment. They should be able to help as well. I don’t know how old you are but you may consider getting a full or part time job to help out with the bills.

I am so sorry for your misfortune and I will pray for you and your family. But in the meantime call every church in your area especially the catholic ones. Call united way you can actually dial 211 from your home or cell phone to call them(dont quote me on that). Hopefully other people will respond to your question and be more helpful to you! GOOD LUCK!

Check with social security, she may qualify for disability benefits.

    Good luck.

Is there anyway she can apply for social security disability for a limited time. Try making stuff and selling it. My childhood neighbor who passed away from breast cancer at 33 would make candles and sell them to cover the costs for going to her treatments.
