Hi, I,m not in the medical field but I know some people who are
involved with Cancer Treatment Centers of America. Their phone
number is 1-800-296-9333. They can help you with detailed
    answers to your question.

HI just thought of another answer to the rotten teenagers you talked about so answering it since I cannot answer the other one again…..tell them you know a witch who is putting a curse on them besides the other stuff I told you..be very persistent and determined and you will defeat them! Keep your cool with all of this along with a strong sense of confidence. For example, offer them some cookies or something and after they eat them tell them there was rat poison in the cookies (of course there won’t be any)…individually threaten them with horrible things…when there are no other witnesses to hear that…..never stop…send weirdo messages to their homes. become a dangerous weirdo in there eyes then straighten up in everyone else’s eyes.
Its really not that hard to defeat Beavis’s like these..I am sure you arefar more intelligent than they are.

I don’t know but I thought I’d just give some food-for-thought. I remember reading about the actor Dirk Benedict using a macrobiotic diet to eliminate some tumor (don’t know the details and whether it’s similar to your mom’s in any way). I also remember watching or reading something where mental imagery was being used with children to stall the growth of cancer. I’d use google.com to search for this and other stuff. Maybe look into other stuff that can’t hurt: e.g. holistic techniques, yoga, acupuncture, maybe even search for neurofeedback techniques? As long as something works (and doesn’t conflict with or divert you from researching things that may really be beneficial, why not?). Maybe check out holisticonline.com? And maybe look for any drugs that are being developed?

For example, I’m doing a clinically-proven breathing technique (’resonant breathing’) for depression and panic disorder (researcher at robert wood johnson hospital in NJ has done the studies on it); maybe look for breathing techniques in yoga and other areas for cancer? Maybe use this in combination with other things – mental imagery, diet changes, exercise, the other stuff you mentioned, etc.?

Just thoughts that pop out — I’d do a bunch of research using google. Email/call people if needed. Go onto online forums (e.g. google.groups, yahoo.groups) and get info. For example, I’m going to go to a hypnotherapist for the panic disorder stuff; I did a bunch of research by sending emails and calling a number of hypnotherapists to make sure I was getting someone who was good and not some snake-oil salesman. I’m also looking into acupuncture as well (for help w/ allergies and panic) and I did the same thing — sent emails and phoned people with a bunch of questions (# of treatments, have they been successful treating what I have, etc.). I was able to get a good idea of who seemed good. And … I’m using these things in combination with other stuff (therapy, diet, exercise … and even medication).

Sorry if this just sounds overwhelming or ‘all over the place’… disregard if it does :)

I don’t have any products to recommend but do have two pieces of advice:

    - In your research, you may come across cancer curing claims by Dr Hulda Clark. Beware – read this: http://www.quackwatch.org/01QuackeryRelatedTopics/Cancer/clark.html

    - Don’t underestimate the overwhelming power of the mind/spirit to heal sickness. She should try her hardest to be positive and believe she is constantly getting better. If you go down that path, when she takes her alternative remedies each day and when she practices meditation (advisable) she should picture herself healthy and strong in her mind, and picture in her mind the remedies healing her body. Visualisation is very powerful.

    Well,

Hate to say it but with millions of hours in research, they have yet to find any threatments that will get "rid" of cancer that don’t involve chemo.

You can go to all the "atlernative medicine" sites you want and ask them three questions –

    1) how many people do they treat and waht is the cure rate?

    2) give you the names and a way to contact TWO people that had (100% diagnosed by a doctor) cancer that is now cancer free because of them. (then call them and see what they say)

    3) Name of scientific journal that revieved their finding and has said they are correct; if they have a cure I am sure it has some scientific basis and is repeatable (cause I am sure that in question #1 they are going to tell you "lots") They should also be able to give you the names of a LOT of people – if I got cured from cancer; I would tell EVERYONE how and where

Chemo is hard, but dying is harder, but then you have to look at quality of life; how do you wat to live those last days.

    I wish her the best!

Do a google for Essiac Tea…it is a combination of 4 herbs that has had wide spread success in treating cancer. It can even be used in conjunction with traditional treatments without problems. Its worked so well that the funding was pulled when the original trials were performed in Canada.

Best wishes! Good for you to being open to alternative treatments!

Speaking as a cancer survivor and fighter having been treated with many kinds of chemotherapy, I ask you, why would you want to take a chance?

There may be alternatives but you’ve only got one life. I would add alternatives TO the chemo but I wouldn’t discount the benefits of chemo.
I lost my hair three times. Felt sick countless hours. Made hundreds of visits to the doctor and at one point I was getting poked by a needle (chemo Procrit and blood tests) 132 times per month.
After struggling for 10 years I now have turned 45, have seen my daughter grow from 3 years to 15 years of age. Watched my Grandson being born 2 years ago! All of these wonderful things and MORE because I am cancer free and most of all ALIVE. I didn’t care HOW I got to stay alive. Just as long as I DID!
If chemo and sickness was what they said would cure me.. I did it! If they told me horse crap would have cured me I would have eaten it! I am not saying cross your other options off her list. Discuss them with her doctor. But don’t give up on what medical science has figured out either!
I had chemo that killed the fast growing cells in my body thus the hair, mouth & stomach lining were all affected. (stomach upset and total body hair loss) They now have drugs to control the upset and the listnessness! Science has made leaps and bounds in this area!
I had chemo that basically worked by producing defective offspring, so as the cancer split from 2 to 4 cells it produced defective offspring and so on and so on. Kind of like making it’s family tree go straight up! Or, retroactive cell abortion! (which, by the way was the one that finally stopped and ‘cured’ my cancer.

There are wonderful drugs on the market like Procrit and others that have made chemo so much easier to handle just in the past few years. Good Luck to your Mother.

Mom, Keep positive thoughts in your head. BELIEVE you will win the battle! Don’t let a day go by that you aren’t POSITIVE you will beat it! Find a reason (your daughter) to NOT LET THE CANCER WIN!
You can do it! I am a wimp.. my period was the worst thing in my life until…. Now I’m strong, I have a new outlook on life! I have a high pain tollerance. I feel I can do anything after all… I beat CANCER!~

Good Luck! Email me if you need support. I had ovairan cancer, but I’ve been there. Scared, worried and needed someone who was positive to help.
    You’ll be in my prayers.

Chemo is often used for cancers that it does not help for. The reason is money and fear. Many doctors are greedy and sell chemo to patients when they run out of answers. If chemo survival rates for your mother’s cancer is low, by all means attempt alternatives to chemo. Forget the fear mongering doctors who want to save you by killing you with radiation. I would get serious about cleansing and the alternatives out there. None of the treatments are magic pill though and it takes following through. Try Essiac tea or drinking water for a few days is not going to cure cancer. A serious regimine of proper diet, cleansing, minerals, herbs, and spices would be the way to go in my estimation

Cancer: Hydrazine Sulfate and other complimentary treatments

I am impressed by Hydrazine sulfate and several other treatments for treating cancer. If I had cancer, I would look much more closely at Hydrazine Sulfate, Pau d’arco, Essiac Tea, Graviola, Pomogranate juice, Vitamin C, drinking 6-8 glasses of distilled water with a pinch of unrefined sea salt, Dr Budwig’s flaxseed oil and cottage cheese diet, full spectrum lighting, and eliminating dairy(except for the cottage cheese in Dr. Budwig’s flaxseed recipe) as complimentary treatments I would consider.

    Pomogranate Juice balances Estrogen levels
The Pusan National University in Korea decided to test out one of the most potent sources of plant estrogens: pomegranate (Punica granatum). Researchers there found that the fermented juice, seed oil and a water extract of the seed covering may help prevent Breast Cancer by inhibiting estrogen receptors in breast cancer cells. Pomegranate seed oil was particularly effective. Pomegranate’s estrogen-modifying action is thought to be caused by compounds called polygphenols, which inhibited estrogen activity 55 percent and cancerous lesions by 47 percent in mammary glands. These compounds also reduced oxidation by decreasing enzyme activity up to 79 percent. Plus, pomegranate fruit is a strong antioxidant that is also good for the heart. During a three-and-a-half month Israeli study, cholesterol dropped 29 percent in volunteers who drank pomegranate juice. It increased factors that protect against lipid oxidation 29 percent in only two weeks and greatly reduced the size of lesions associated with hardening of the arteries and produced less clumping of blood cells compared to a control group.

I would also look at apple cider vinegar and cayenne…two of my favorite health supplements that I take every day.
