What is the percentage of people who will be diagnosed with Cancer?

I thought I’ve heard something before like, one in five people will be diagnosed with some form of Cancer at one time in their life. Though I’ve been searching and haven’t been able to find any statistic stated like that. All the statistics I’m finding are based on sex, gender, age and aren’t talking about the population as a whole. Also I’m not seeing diagnosis percentage only mortality rates among those with cancer. If you can find the kind of statistic I’m talking about please send me the link.

Two years ago the Canadian Cancer society started recommending that everyone take vitamin D to prevent cancer. Everyone should know about the data that led to this recommendation. Take a look at http://www.vitaminD3world.com for some good summaries of the data
